BRUNA MATSIN is a French-American award-winning Actor/Writer/Producer/Director, and a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and British Equity.
A native of France, she also grew up in the U.K. before settling in California in the early 90's.
A law school graduate, Bruna eventually reconnected with her passions for acting and storytelling in all its forms, leaving the legal field for the San Francisco Shelton Studios, before transferring to the Bay Area American Conservatory Theater.
In Los Angeles since 2005, she has been pursuing her passion for Acting continously, including Voice Over, while developing a keen interest for producing along the way.
After various internships at some of Los Angeles' top film production companies, Matsin launched her own boutique production company with Twinz n' Magic Productions in 2013.
The company focuses on developing stories & concepts primarily tailored for children, youth & family audience, with a special emphasis on uplifting and heightened-reality material.
The Lollipop Thief -Matsin's directorial debut and first ever production in the area of live-action shorts- won the Award for Best Family Short Film at the 2015 San Diego International Kids' Film Festival.
The company is also tackling Animation for the first time with The Fairy & The Princess, whose screenplay won 3rd Place at Scriptamation, in the Children/Fantasy category, before it went on to win the Final Draft Award for Best Short Screenplay at SDIFF a year later.
On the documentary front, her first production of Who Stole the Ruby Slippers?, directed by Theodore James, was an official selection at AFI DOCS where it premiered in 2015.
Matsin splits her time between Southern California, Montana, and the United Kingdom.
As a Voice Artist, she is represented by deVine Voices Agency in the UK.
